Jonathan has over 12 years’ experience working as a senior solicitor and department head in two major City firms, and has a broad range of experience on all commercial and employment matters.

His employment law cases involve both contentious and non-contentious work, and recently he has advised on TUPE issues; allegations of misconduct and employment tribunal claims; redundancy advice; compromise agreements; salaried GP contracts; alternatives to the BMA model contract; Consultant employment contracts; GP locum agreements; and prepared template contracts and staff handbooks for nurses and locums.
His commercial cases vary widely, including GP partnership disputes; Partnership exit agreements; NHS England and Local Area Team investigations of Practices; GMC conduct hearings; Consultant private practice contracts – negotiation and dispute resolution.
In addition, Jonathan has particular expertise advising on the service requirements of Practices, including negotiating agency, locum and consultancy agreements and outsourcing service contracts for admin, finance and IT.
