Andrew Mayor has over 25 years experience as a property lawyer, and has dealt with a wide range of commercial and residential freehold and leasehold matters throughout his career.

Andrew has an excellent understanding of the GMS and PMS Regulations as they pertain to primary care property, and has worked on many surgery developments, freehold and leasehold transfers, surgery ownership deeds (Declarations of Trust), surgery leases and a variety of other surgery related matters.

A particular expertise of Andrew’s is in resolving GP partnership disputes, especially where these also involve a dispute about the property. He is greatly helped in this work by his empathetic and service-oriented approach, which is focused on seeking to ‘get the deal done’. Clients always enjoy working with Andrew.

Andrew is a law graduate from Oxford University, and he has previously worked for the international firm Linklaters as well as a niche law firm in Lincoln’s Inn where he was a partner. Andrew’s other great passion is opera singing, and he is an accomplished baritone.
