Michael Gleeson has extensive corporate experience across multiple sectors, including financial services/regulatory and Public-Private Partnerships.
Michael has practised in the City for over 25 years. He has acted for large institutional clients in the financial services sector, for governments and regulators, including the UK Department of Trade & Industry and the Securities & Investment Board. He recently advised the UK Government (FCDO) on the effect of Covid-19 on corporate structures in low-income countries.
He has participated in numerous M&A transactions, drafting sale and purchase agreements, dealing with due diligence, disclosure documentation, etc. He has taken part in the due diligence exercises required for AIM listings, communicating and working with NOMADS.
Michael is a high-level negotiator and is qualified in respect of Islamic banking and finance.
