With over 30 years’ experience, John handles all types of commercial dispute resolution, including contract disputes, property and land disputes, professional negligence, debt recovery, insurance claims, director & shareholder disputes and partnership disputes. He has acted on behalf of companies, partnerships, individuals and not for profit organisations, including doctors, dentists and care homes.
John has a pragmatic and commercial approach to resolving commercial disputes, delivered in a supportive and accessible manner. Clients are reassured by John’s professional and friendly approach, feeling confident that he is able to stand up and fight their corner but also to focus on dispute resolution whenever it is in his clients’ interests. John is also a qualified Mediator.
Before qualifying as a lawyer, John was a junior exhibitioner at the Royal Academy of Music, moving later to Trinity College. He taught for a few years and was a professional violinist, before retraining and qualifying as a solicitor in 1982.
