Andrew Mayor has over 25 years experience as a lawyer, and has dealt with a wide range of commercial property and partnership related matters throughout his career.
Andrew has an excellent understanding of the GMS and PMS Regulations , and has worked on many surgery developments, freehold and leasehold transfers, surgery ownership deeds (Declarations of Trust), surgery leases and a variety of other surgery related matters.
A particular expertise of Andrew’s is in resolving GP partnership disputes, especially where these also involve a dispute about the property. He is greatly helped in this work by his empathetic and service-oriented approach, which is focused on seeking to ‘get the deal done’. Clients always enjoy working with Andrew.
Andrew is a law graduate from Oxford University, and has previously worked for the international firm Linklaters as well as a niche law firm in Lincoln’s Inn where he was a Partner. Andrew’s other great passion is opera singing, and he is an accomplished baritone.
