Michael has been a specialist in commercial property disputes and litigation for over 20 years. He represents and advises both landlords and tenants in a wide variety of disputes, including claims for possession; surgery lease renewals; relief from forfeiture; eviction proceedings; property ownership disputes, and commercial service charge disputes. He has advised a number of primary care providers, including advising in relation to NHSPS service charge disputes.
Michael has been a member of the Property Litigation Association for many years and is currently a member of the PLA’s Law Reform Committee. He was also a member of the Greater London Authority’s Steering Group on London Working Rents. More recently he has been actively involved in the Law Commission’s proposed reforms of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954.
